Bear and Wolf
Saturday, January 26th, 10:00am - 12:00pm
Ages 3 -10
Price includes all supplies
Come bring the whole family and enjoy a full story time immersion of Daniel Salmieri's "Bear and Wolf". Some of the activities will be differentiated based on the age of the child, so everyone will be able to take part in the fun while keeping it age appropriate for the little and big ones alike.
We will kick off the session with some snow! The older kids will get a chance to make their very own "snow", choosing which materials will work best to recreate lifelike snow flurries, while the little ones will be able to just dig in and enjoy the sensory experience. We will then have a read aloud, while acting out scenes from the book. Following that will be an ice-melting activity that is a blast for all ages! To finish off the day, each child will have a choice of creating a unique piece of fish or forest art using papier mache to take home with them.
The Book and the Bristle is a process playdate studio providing a place for kids to explore the world of books and art in one stimulating environment. All activities and projects are inspired by that day's book.
**Allergy alert: This session's space is home to a dog and a cat, so please keep that in mind when signing up.**
